We bought the boat dog bed for our lab before fishing season, expecting it to get a fair amount of wear. It has handled wet paws, muddy boots, and daily use at the dock without showing much of anything. The base stays in place, and the cover still looks great after cleaning. It feels like a bed we'll use for years.
